Oxfordshire Cricket Academy received a timely boost when Darbys Solicitors announced they are to continue their sponsorship.
The Academy, which held its first training session of the season at the weekend, is aimed at young cricketers in the county, who have been recognised for their talent and potential to play at the highest level in the game. The group of elite players will have the benefit of coaching from former first-class players in order to enhance their skills. William Selby-Lowndes, a partner in Darbys Solicitors, said: "We are very pleased to be associated with the aim of the Oxfordshire Cricket Board to identify young and talented players and to develop their skills".
Peter O'Neill, secretary of the Oxfordshire Cricket Board added: "We are delighted that Darbys are sponsoring the Academy, which is in its tenth year."
