Bampton's Alex Dew continued his great run of form with a win and a second place in the second round of the BMW Compact Cup at Brands Hatch.
With another huge entry, the round was split into three races, each driver competing in two of them.
The Led Lenser team driver, after securing pole for race one, made a great start and managed to keep a raging five-car pack off his rear bumper to take the win ahead of Mike Tovey and Alan Kirkaldy.
With the heavens then opening just before the second race, Dew secured his fourth podium of the season, finishing second only 0.18secs behind race winner Steven Roberts.
He said: “Four front-row starts, and four podiums in four races is a dream, a true testament to all the hard work and preparation that has gone in over the winter.”
