Oxford RL face a huge test when they return to Kingstone Press Championship One action with trip up north to face the York City Knights on Sunday (3pm).
It will be the first contest between the two sides, York having been relegated from the Championship last season.
The Knights are unbeaten in the league, having seen off the All Golds, Hunslet and South Wales.
They also defeated Championship opposition in Whitehaven in the Challenge Cup, before bowing out narrowly to Swinton.
Oxford, coming off a two-week break, know what they are up against.
Coach Tony Benson’s men will be looking to build on an impressive second-half display against Hunslet Hawks in their last league game.
Benson said: “It will be a very interesting test as we want to test ourselves against the best.”
Oxford captain Alex Thompson said: “There is no pressure on us to be honest, and the pressure will all be on them as they will be looking to continue their unbeaten league run.”
This visitors are still missing Valu Bentley, with an ankle injury, while Glenn Osborn has failed to shake off a similar problem sustained in training.
