OXFORD B were knocked out 6-4 on aggregate by Northants B in the Inter Area Cup.
Trailing 3-2 from the away leg, Oxford took the opening two games through Billy Hill (7,210) and Allan Lacey (8,710) to lead 4-3.
But they then lost the next three games.
- PREMIER outfit Didcot Conservative Club eased to a 4-1 win over Section 2 side Headington Conservative Club in the Johnson Buildbase Oxford League’s Gracie J’s League Cup Plate quarter-final.
Dennis Atkins (4,630) and Stuart Florey (3,420) won the first two games for Didcot, before Graham Mildenhall gave Headington hope by beating beat Dave Tooke.
But Jenny Florey and Sue Atkins then replied to secure victory for Didcot, who now face Kennington Club in the semi-finals.
Section 2 side Gladiators B will take on Marlborough Club in the last four after knocking out Section 1 team Masons B 3-2 at home.
