BB&O CHAMPIONSHIP
ABINGDON secured the title without playing after opponents Winslow handed them a home walkover.
A solitary point would have been enough for Abingdon to win the league, but they were gifted all five.
Harwell battled back to win 23-16 at local rivals Didcot.
Didcot’s points came via tries from Josh Witts and Kevin Wort plus two Witts penalties.
But Harwell hit back from 10-6 down thanks to tries from Ryan Hodnett, Kev Wood and Rob Douglas, with Mike Phillips kicking two penalties and a conversion.
Wheatley secured second with a 17-12 win at Aldermaston.
Adam Muir bagged two tries and a conversion, while Andy Tippett also crossed over.
