HORSPATH defeated the elements and bottom side Garsington in a 7-2 victory, which put them fourth.

The hosts opened the scoring after 18 minutes when Elliott O’Brien slid the ball home.

Three minutes later it was 2-0 thanks to Simon Evans’ fine chip. Just on half time Damon Spiers reduced the arrears from the spot.

But Horspath stepped up a gear and went 4-1 up with O’Brien and then Lenny Sackey both scoring.

Abdul Barusso pulled one back, but O’Brien scored his third and then added his fourth.

In the last minute Sam Graham’s corner was met by a powerful Rob Cattell header to finish off in style.

North Oxford twice fought back from two goals down to draw 3-3 with Northway in Division 1.

Max Palmer (2) and Neil Conway scored in reply to efforts from Kyle Pullen (2) and Lewis Welby.

Luke Beauchamp (2), and Craig Hanlon provided the strikes which gave Bletchingdon Res a 3-0 Division 3 success over Eynsham Res.
