Oxford's Pauline Withey won her first grand prix title as she beat No 2 seed Janet Burns in the final at the Post Office Club in Reading.
No 1 seed Withey saw off Burns 2-0 with an aggregate of 8,470-3,320.
In the men's final, Keith Sheard, the No 2 seed, lost a close final to No 1 seed Kevin Tunstall on aggregate, 14,060-12,150.
Tunstall also saw off Steve Sheards in the semi-final 19,000-17,200.
Steven Sheard's consolation came when he retained the under 25 title after beating Sussex's Chris Reeves 14,680-14,250 in the final.
NELSON A came from 2-0 down to beat Masons B 3-2 in the Oxford & District League's Scotland Ash Cup.
Ernie Smith (3,140) and Dave Butt (5,440) appeared to have put Masons in charge, but victories from Steven Sheard (3,500), Ray Sturgess (12,560) and Keith Sheard (5,750) secured Nelson the win.
Corner House won 4-1 at Democrats B, thanks to victories from Alan Oliver, Bob Allsworth, Mick Jones and Allan Lacey.
Gladiators A also went through after a winning 3-2 at Vikings.
Pete Freeman (3,480) and Larry Richens (5,710) won for Vikings, with Pete Witney (4,050), Frank Cox (3,250) and Bob Pincombe securing victory for Gladiators.
In the Scotland Ash Plate, Headington Con Club won 3-2 at home to Nelson B, while Cavalier reached the semi-final with a 3-2 success at home to Shelley Arms.
