Goalkeeper John Hunt was Faring- don's hero with two shoot-out saves as his side beat Letcombe 4-2 on penalties in the third round.
Faringdon's Gary Sutton came closest to breaking the deadlock in normal time, heading against a post.
But Hunt proved the difference, making a terrific left-handed save to keep out the second Letcombe kick and then blocking the third effort as Faringdon converted all their penalties.
