Oxford Ladies lost 3-2 at Witney C in the C team competition.
Mellissa Standbridge and Pauline Withey won their matches, but Scott Gillam beat Kirsty Jarvis in the decider.
Oxford C lost the first leg 4-1 at home to Wycombe C, with Sid Ponting claiming the win.
Withey and playing partner Steven Sheard opened their defence in the Oxford League Pairs Cup with a 3-0 win over Vikings’ Bob Allsworth and Allan Lacey at Berinsfield.
