UNDER 14

EMILY Parker and Jenna Owen scored four apiece as Bloxham beat Wantage 10-0.

The home side were 8-0 up at half-time, Owen scoring four and Parker netting twice, with further goals coming from Rosie Gowing and Natalie Sansom.

Wantage missed a penalty after the break and Parker went on to add another two goals. Kidlington held hosts Swindon Spitfires to a goalless draw, with both sides missing penalties.

Benson United kicked off their campaign in style with a 9-0 victory away at Carterton Town.

Ellie Seares, Emily Bailey and Mollie Gallagher each struck twice, while Alan Jones, Annie Jaquest and an own goal added further gloss.

UNDER 16

A goal from Jo Taylor was enough to give Chinnor a 1-0 victory at home to Bloxham.

The winning goal coming midway through the second half when Taylor’s corner was deflected into the net.

UNDER 15

Oxford City continued their good start to the season with an 8-0 win at home to Bardwell thanks to a four-timer from Shelley Knight.

Captain Megan Thorpe opened the scoring and Knight gave City a 2-0 half-time lead.

After the break, City added six more through Lauren Page, April Bedford and an own goal and three from Knight.

Didcot Casuals held off a spirited Kidlington to claim a 1-0 victory. Charlotte Guppy fired home on 15 minutes and Casuals then had to withstand a barrage of attacks.

Emily Young hit the bar for the hosts and Didcot goalkeeper Sophie Kirby pulled off a string of fine saves to maintain her side’s perfect start.

Summertown Stars twice came from behind to see off Highworth Town 4-3, a quickfire double from Lucy Jenner ultimately separating the two sides.

Flora Kempton equalised for Stars after Highworth took the lead and Jess Byles drew them level once again after a mix-up allowed Highworth to regain the advantage.

Jenner then struck twice in quick succession, with Taneya Vince’s last-minute goal proving little more than a consolation for Highworth.

Charlotte Weisinger earlier scored twice for Highworth.

Mila Lewis, Rachel Everett, Milly Booth and Martha French were the scorers as Stonesfield Strikers comfortably beat Kingham All Blacks 4-0.

Stonesfield bossed proceedings from the start and Booth even had time to miss a penalty before Lewis opened the scoring for them on 25 minutes.

They then went on to add three more goals in the second half, with French’s lob the pick of the bunch.

UNDER 13

Tower Hill Vixens maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 3-1 win over Stonesfield Strikers.

Annie Dennis struck either side of half-time before Hannah Calvert pulled one back for Stonesfield.

Isabelle Henthorne made the points safe by adding a third shortly after.
