Abingdon beat Aldershot & Farnham 9-5 in an HA Vase first-round goal fest.
Adrien Vigier, playing his last match for the club before returning to France, and Will Trigg, in an unaccustomed role at sweeper, both recorded hat-tricks.
Abingdon found themselves two down to the Hampshire side in ten minutes but fought back superbly, pulling one goal back with a stunning solo effort from Josh Tomlinson.
Shortly afterwards Rhys Cadman equalised for Abingdon before Trigg gave them the lead with a penalty corner strike.
A second Trigg penalty corner strike and a second Cadman goal put Abingdon 5-3 up at the interval.
Vigier struck three times in the second half, notching his treble from a penalty stroke. Trigg then completed his hat-trick by flicking the ball high into the roof of the net.
