Banbury United boss Kevin Brock admits that he is struggling to put his finger on why his side cannot win at home.

The Puritans have managed only one league win at Spencer Stadium all season, and tomorrow host Premier Division high-flyers Mangotsfield, who have won seven matches away.

Brock said: "Away from home we're defending well and taking our chances, but at home, although our performances are much the same, we're giving away some daft goals."

Brock was adamant that their home form has not been preying on their mind, but he is frustrated that they cannot put on a performance for their supporters.

"We hadn't really spoken much about our home form if I'm honest," Brock said.

"I keep telling the lads if they keep performing as they are doing, the home wins will come.

Banbury are rocked by injury for tomorrow's game, with strikers Howard Forinton (hamstring) and Andy Baird (ankle) both ruled out.

There are also doubts over Ollie Stanbridge (thigh), while Jon Gardner and Matty Hayward are struggling with knee problems.

Kieran Sullivan (hamstring) is set to return.

Brock said: "Mangotsfield have one of the best away records in the league, and they're a decent side - but there are always goals in this game - I just hope most of them go in the right net!"

Oxford City assistant manager Mike Ford insists they have no fears as they travel to Somerset to take on high-flying Taunton Town in Division 1 South & West.

City have lost only one game since Ford and Justin Merritt took over from Andy Lyne, and the former Oxford United ace says the team have a different mindset now.

He said: "We've got the lads working hard and are trying to get them fitter.

"This helps us play positive football and create more chances."

But Ford is mindful that they still have a long way to go.

"We have a lot more work to do with the defence, because we haven't kept a clean sheet as yet," he added.

City will be without Merritt, who is suspended, while Gavin Lane (back) is doubtful.

Anthony Alleyne is unavailable.

Didcot Town have doubts over Dave Green (back) for their trip to Bracknell Town.

Ian Concannon (hamstring) is still ruled out.

Didcot will be looking to bounce back after dropping points in a 1-1 draw against Chesham in midweek, but boss Stuart Peace is not worried.

"It was a bit like the Alamo on Tuesday, Chris Webb didn't have a save to make," he said.

Abingdon United are at home to Windsor & Eton, looking to build on their fine 2-2 draw at Lymington & New Milton in midweek.

Scott Davis and Jermaine McSporran are back in the squad.
