DIDCOT & District League president Jim Stevenson led Didcot A to a 9-1 victory over Abingdon A to keep them in touch with Division 1 leaders Drayton A, writes Roger Templeman.

Letcombe A climbed out of the drop zone when Mike Haddrell and Richard Taylor both won three in their 9-1 victory at depleted Moreton A.

RAL C regained leadership of Division 2 as Anders Markvardsen and Tim Pett registered maximums against Moreton B. Howbery A won the battle of the bottom two teams by winning the doubles following a Chris Hasker maximum against Sutton B.

Drayton C remain top of Division 3 after Dave Hudson and Roy Stocker were unbeaten in the 8-2 success at Letcombe B.

Moreton C's James Goldsby-West recorded maximums against Wallingford A and Didcot D.

Geoff Burton, of Abingdon F, lost his 100 per cent record against bottom team Moreton D, but won the doubles with Birgit Muller to nick a 6-4 win. Phil Richards won three again as Letcombe D continue setting the pace in Division 4 with easy to victory over Abingdon I. The Drayton derby ended in comprehensive victory for the D team losing only the doubles to the E team's teenagers Luke and Nicole Hunt. RAL E, with Steve Cobrin and Lawrence Jones in great form, had a good win against Abingdon J.

Howbery C prop up Division 5 following defeat to Abingdon K for whom the division's leading player, Matt Wood, won three. Moreton H won the derby against the I team with Sam Crowther and Tom Gray going unbeaten.
