OXFORD City Stars rose to fourth in the English National League South Division table after demolishing Solent & Gosport 14-2 in a bad-tempered clash.
Stars Darren Elliott and Solent's Kevin Tanner were both sent off after brawling, but the game also featured a hat-trick from Tom Hooper.
Oxford saw Ady Haigh make his home debut in place of Ben Moody, while Paul Donohoe and Easy Chalmers were also missing.
Hooper put Oxford ahead in the fourth minute and Alan Green made it 2-0.
Further goals from Andrew Cox, Jacob Smith and Sam Broughton saw Stars end the first period in control.
But a clash between Elliott and Tanner saw penalties for both.
Green made it 6-0 two minutes into the second period, while Lukas Szabo used his lightning pace to notch a seventh.
A lapse in concentration allowed Josh Grocutt to score for Solent, before Hooper bagged his second.
Tanner then tripped Elliott to stop an attacking move - a challenge that saw the pair come to blows and get sent off.
Oxford bagged a short-handed goal through Dean Francis with Haigh in the penalty box and defenceman Luke Plasted scored No 10 before the break.
Solent started the third period on fire with a strike from James Bennett.
But Patrick Knightley put out their fire with his opening goal three minutes in.
It was ten minutes before their 12th came from Szabo.
Within a minute David Gregory tucked the puck under the keeper.
Knightley ended his night with a head check to a Solent player, although earlier in the game the referee missed Szabo getting speared to the stomach.
Oxford's man-of-the-match Hooper, who is in his first senior year, wrapped up the scoring with his hat-trick goal.
Speaking afterwards, Elliott said of his spat with Tanner: "I decided to let him know that he should not being doing things like that.
"I had hold of him and he had hold of me and I was not going to let go for a fist in my face."
