CAMBRIDGE have stretched the Varsity Match's amateur tradition to the limit by including Northampton winger David Akinluyi in their side.
Akinluyi, a try-scorer in 2005, joined the Premiership club on a two-year deal in the summer and has not played for the Light Blues this season.
But the 22-year-old, who played for Northampton against Oxford last month, is eligible because he is completing a part-time engineering course.
The Light Blues are captained by 35-year-old lock John Blaikie, a New Zealander, who has played Super 12 rugby for Otago Highlanders.
Cambridge: M Hamish, D Tibbott, J Ansbro*, S Thomas*, D Akinluyi*, J Ufton*, R Blake, R Schwikkard, J Clark*, J Dawson, J Blaikie* (capt), M Harfoot*, N Johnson, D O'Brien*, E Andrews. *Denotes Blue.
