SKIPPER Andrew Collett, making his first start since the opening game of the season, scored two tries as Banbury recorded a resounding 44-14 victory over bottom club Bugbrooke in Midlands 3 East South.

Having to play into the wind, Banbury built a slender 12-0 lead by half-time courtesy of tries from wing Adam Walsh and Collett, who broke a wrist in the season's opener.

The start of the second half saw Bugbrooke score a a well-worked try. But Banbury then added six more tries.

Walsh completed a hat-trick, Collett grabbed his second and further scores came from Sean Bannister, Dave Phipps and Pete Papenfus, who added two conversions.
