Tim Martin smashed a superb century, but it was to no avail as Swinbrook lost by two wickets to Eynsham in Division 4 of the OCA League.

Martin’s terrific 146 led Swinbrook to 238-8 from their 45 overs.

But Sam Jones (55), Adam Hingley (41) and Andy Howard (30no) saw Eynsham to 241-8.

Mohammed Shafqat and Gareth McAloon each took three wickets as Willows were shot out for 79, before Wolvercote eased to 80-3.

Sean King was Hailey’s hero with 61 not out in his side’s one-wicket win at West Ilsley.

The home team posted 169-8, led by George Storton’s 50, only for King’s knock to take Hailey to 170-9, despite 5-36 from Jack Steffen.

West Ilsley 7, Hailey 28 Wootton & Boars Hill won by nine wickets at Charlbury 2nd, who made 155-9.

Wootton got 158-1, Aidan Steer hitting 52 not out.

Deddington crushed hosts Garsington 2nd by 189 runs.

Sam Redford top-scored with 93 in Deddington’s 258-8, before Lewis Bletchley claimed his maiden league five-wicket haul (5-21) as Garsington were shot out for 69.

Division 5 leaders Kilkenny fell to their first defeat of the season, despite a third successive century from Darren Gordon.

Gordon’s 103 led Kilkenny to 269-8 at Stanton Harcourt, but Chris Pascoe (116) and Harry Sutton (110no) led Stanton to 273-8.

Kidlington closed the gap on the leaders, seeing off hosts Kennington by six wickets.

After seeing off Kennington for 181, Waseem Azad taking 4-35, Kidlington eased home at 182-4, Ralph Bishop hit 87 and Jack Desmond 57.

Kennington 6, Kidlington 30 Marcham thrashed Great Horwood 2nd by 141 runs.

Andrew Horseman was the star with 95 not out in Marcham’s 219-4, before Horwood were bowled out for 78.

Adam Shorten’s 5-29 helped Uffington to a five-wicket win over Cassington Rescue.

Shorten’s haul helped to dismiss the visitors for 117, and then Tom Fillery hit 46 as Uffington reached 121-5.

Hanborough posted a 126-run victory at West Witney.

Glen Willet (76) top-scored in Hanborough’s 274-7, before Richard Brown claimed 4-42 as West Witney were bowled out for 148.

West Witney 6, Hanborough 30 Risinghurst stayed clear at the top of Division 6 after an 89-run victory over Hanney.

Gaurav Samuel hit 74 not out in Risinghurst’s 215-5, before Mohammed Iltaf claimed 4-20 and Romeo Fernandes 3-15 in Hanney’s126.
