Ben Watson, of the St Birinus Club at Didcot, retained his title at the British Championships in Bangor – and he did it in style.
He set a British Under 23 record in the clean and jerk with a lift of 176kg in the 105kg class.
Added to his snatch of 145kg, it gave him a winning total of 321kg.
