OXFORD Cheetahs fans could know their line-ups before Christmas.
The new management team of Colin Horton, Trevor Swales and Aaron Lanney have been working away since the the end of the annual AGM, and are now close to naming their line-ups for next season.
A club spokesman said: "We are hoping to have the team in place by Christmas."
The Cowley club have so far made no signings, but they are holding talks with several riders.
And they've confirmed a public meeting at the stadium for Wednesday, December 20, when it is hoped they will reveal both their Elite and Conference League teams.
The big question for the Cheetahs fans is who will be the new power-head at No 1 following the almost certain move of world champion Jason Crump to Poole.
It's likely that Eric Andersson and Freddie Eriksson will be in the reserve slots, and the return of Niels-Kristian Iversen is a possibilty, now that sister club Peterborough have to make changes after winning the Elite League last season.
