Oxford City 1, Hanwell Tn 1
OXFORD City can count themselves fortunate to have rescued a point against Division 1 South & West basement boys.
Although City made the early running against a side desperate for points, there were few opportunities being created, with Alex Stewart, and Mark Jones putting in efforts for City.
For Hanwell, Chris Mills could have caused the home side problems, but fired a shot across goal.
City's Mark Avery denied Mills, with a good interception with neither keeper called upon to make a save.
Twelve minutes into the second half, Hanwell took the lead when Christian Metcalf's tremendous shot went over the line, despite Lee Farrow's attempt to save as it came down off the underside of the bar.
City pushed forward in search of an equaliser, and with time running out, a foul on Anthony Alleyne just outside the box gave Stewart the chance to hit a thunderous shot into the net, much to the relief of the home fans.

Farrow, Durrant, Steedman, Avery, Takriti, Jones, Keen (Beechers, 64), Malone (Alleyne, 75), Stewart, Spence, Burnley (Rendell, 73).
