TOM Calnan was too hot to handle as he won both Oxford City club championship titles and he celebrated by diving in the green-side lake.
The 27-year-old shot 72 and 77 to finish a single stroke ahead of Mark Hall and regain the scratch competition he won two years ago.
Playing off three, his nett score of 143 was good enough to see off nearest challenger Andy Thomas and win the Southfield Cup, repeating his double win from 2011.
After playing in roasting temperatures, Calnan cooled off with a triumphant dive into the water in front of the 18th green.
