Ben Watson, from the St Birinus Club in Didcot, broke two British records at an international tournament in La Coruna, Spain.
The 23-year-old achieved a record snatch of 153kg, which combined with his clean and jerk of 173kg produced a British best overall total of 326kg.
Eddie Chambers, 21, posted a snatch of 102kg and a clean and jerk of 127kg for a total of 229kg.
And Josh Cox, 19, recorded a snatch of 98kg and a clean and jerk of 120kg for a combined 218kg.
St Birinus came fifth of the ten teams, which was a respectable effort as they were a man down on all the other teams.
