OXFORD Saints edged out Farnham Knights 8-6 to boost their play-off hopes in the National Division South Conference.
Running back James Ferrigno blasted visiting Saints ahead with an eight-yard touchdown in the second half.
Then Jonny Dover scrambled into the end zone to put Oxford 8-0 ahead with a safety.
Farnham hit back with a 60-yard touchdown, but Oxford held on and closed out the game when Ali Galbraith delivered a big hit on the Knights receiver.
Saints host Farnham in their next match on Sunday, July 30.
