THERE was a thrilling climax in Division 8 where Wallingford 2nd’s clash with hosts Shipton-under-Wychwood 3rd finished in a draw with scores level.
Stuart Edwards (54), Mark Cox (36) and James Hopkins (30) shone in Wallingford’s 178-5, while Robert Seymour (4-28) was the pick of the bowlers.
Donald Hare (88) and Graham Nelson (43) led Shipton’s reply, which closed one run short of victory on 178-7 as Ricky Prescott took 4-23.
