OXFORD United have been handed a tough trip away to Charlton Athletic in the Capital One Cup first round.
The last meeting between the teams was also in the League Cup, back in October 2002, when the U's won on penalties following a goalless draw at the Valley.
The Londoners will be favourites this time after finishing ninth in the Championship last season.
United knocked out higher league opposition in the first round last August, beating League One side Bournemouth on a penalty shoot-out, before losing 3-0 to Leeds United at Elland Road.
The tie will be held in the week commencing August 5.
