Banbury have two players called Chloe Hill in their side and both shone as the club marked their entry into the ECB Womens League with an eight-wicket victory at home to Northants side Horton House in Midlands Division 2.
Horton House struggled against Chloe Hill (the bowler), who returned superb figures of 5-9 as they were restricted to 132-7. Banbury openers Chloe Hill (the batsman) and Kate Davies put on 85 to set up the victory. Hill made 50, which included eight fours.
In Midlands Division 1 East, Charlbury skittled out Notts side Plumtree for 39. Charlbury passed the target for the loss of three wickets.

Oxfordshire Under 17s suffered an agonising four-run defeat by Essex at Stonesfield.
Choosing to bat first, Essex slipped from 107-1 to 140-9.
In reply, Oxon seemed down and out at 114-9, but a last-wicket stand of 22 took them close before the final wicket fell with nine balls left.
Scores: Essex U 17 140-9 (40 ovs, G Melhuish 47, L Marshall 3-18), Oxfordshire 136 (38.3 ovs).
Oxfordshire Under 13s trounced Northants by 121 runs at Great Milton.
Scores: Oxfordshire U13 166-8 (35 ovs, L Thomas 46), Northants 45 (17.1 ovs).
St Andrew’s School, from Chinnor, won a Kwik Cricket tournament involving 90 girls from seven primary schools at Aston Rowant on Tuesday.
In the final, St Andrew’s beat Stokenchurch by five runs.
