Oxford's injured skipper Alex Thompson says his side must maintain their discipline when they host Rochdale Hornets at Iffley Road on Sunday (3pm).
The hosts, who will be looking to keep up the good work after Sunday’s 27-22 win against Gateshead, are also without Brett Robinson (suspended), Chris Clarke and Luke Evans, while Shaun Robinson, Martin Roden and Andrew Hoggins are doubts.
Thompson says Rochdale would be difficult opponents.
“This will be a tough game,” said Thompson.
“We have to complete our sets and not give as many penalties away as we have been doing otherwise Roch-dale will kill us.
“They have some fantastic players and will punish us every time we make a mistake.
“If we concentrate on our own performance we can get the result but we need to be on top of our game.”
