HANNAH England will hope to build on an encouraging start to her season when she competes in the Rome Diamond League meeting at 7.15pm tonight. The 26-year-old Oxford City star produced her fastest campaign opener yet when clocking 4mins 3.38secs at the Prefontaine Classic in Oregon, USA on Saturday. That time means England will be guaranteed a place in Britain’s team for the World Championships in Moscow if she finishes in the top two at the trials from July 12-14. Tonight, England’s opponents include world No 1 Abeba Aregawi (Sweden) and No 2 Faith Kipyegon (Kenya), plus fellow Brit Lisa Dobriskey.
