MARK Strong took 5-39 and Zia Hamed 3-40 to help Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts overcome Aston Rowant 2nd by the narrowest of margins in Division 3 of the Cherwell League.
Nondies were defending 147, of which Pablo Mukherjee contributed 50, while Ricky Hopwood took 5-33.
The run rate was never an issue as Thaddeus Cooper made 58, but Rowant came up one run short on 146.

A fine all-round performance by Matt Maule was the difference between his Tiddington side and hosts Cropredy.
First he top-scored with 50 in the visitors’ 159 all out, with Will Cooper (40) the only other scorer of note.
James Coleman (5-29) and Jamie Jennings (5-46) were in the wickets for Cropredy.
Ed Somerton’s 54 was not enough as Maule took 4-37 to restrict the home side to 143-9.

Challow & Childrey endured a disastrous trip to Bledlow Village, crashing to a 73-run defeat.
Ross Packham (4-33) and Aussie Luke Stutter (4-74) looked like giving Challow a chance as Bledlow reached 201-9 from their 53 overs.
But the visiting batsmen had no answer to Mark King (4-23) and were rolled over for 128, with Pat Bryan’s 37 only delaying the inevitable.

Jude Ramadanpulle took 7-58 and Wasim Fayyaz 3-38 to dismiss Bletchley Town for 123.
Earlier Atif Akhlaq made 47 of Wolverton’s 140 all out, while Kieran Lampard claimed 4-13 and Idrees Butt 3-33.
