SPECULATION linking Oxford United manager Chris Wilder to the Sheffield United job eased yesterday. The 45-year-old was made the 1-10 favourite by two bookmakers on Tuesday, but the market changed to make Motherwell manager Stuart McCall, another former player, the new front runner. Sheffield United are believed to be drawing up a shortlist, but the U’s only comment yesterday was that no approach had been received for Wilder, who drifted out to 4-1.
