LONDON Welsh lock Kirill Kulemin was due to appear before a RFU disciplinary hearing last night charged with punching in their final Aviva Premiership match.
Kulemin has been cited for allegedly striking Worcester’s Chris Jones in Saturday’s clash at the Kassam Stadium.
Russian international Kulemin, who will join Sale Sharks this summer, was yellow-carded in the match, but could now face a ban if found guilty.
The result of his case is due to be announced this morning.
Meanwhile, Welsh captain Jon Mills scooped a further double of club awards.
He was named London Welsh Supporters Club player of the year after the Worcester match and went on to be named both player of the year by the coaching staff and players’ player.
“It’s brilliant, but I couldn’t have done it without everyone else around me,” said Mills.
Hooker Neil Briggs picked up the community award for work in Oxfordshire, which included hospital visits and coaching sessions.
Try of the year went to Tom Arscott for his long-range effort against Saracens.
