HEADINGTON A stayed on course to lift the Oxford & District League Cup for a fourth successive year with a 78-57 win at Oxford City & County A in the quarter-finals.
In a repeat of the final of the last two years, Headington came out on top despite City & County winning on two rinks in the competition sponsored by S&J Timms Cleaning Services and Rub A Dub Dub Laundrette.
Captain Ian Snowdon and Middleton Cup skip Howard Watts posted good wins to see Headington through.
They will now be away to West Witney, who won 80-49 at West Woodstock, in the semi-finals at South Oxford on Thursday, August 22.
Carterton won 80-56 at Division 4 side Oxford Sports, who won on one of the rinks.
Carterton now face Banbury Chestnuts, who dispatched Witney Mills 87-55.
