Tiddington sprang the big surprise in the National Village Cup first round with a 58-run home defeat of former dual champions Shipton-under-Wychwood.
Nick Pykett led Cherwell League Division 2 side Tiddington to 227-7 off their 40 overs with a quickfire 63 off 39 balls, while Will Cooper weighed in with 53 as Jason Hunt took 5-69.
Matt Maule (4-35) and John Ponsford (3-44) led the way with the ball for Tiddington as Shipton fell well short on 169-9, despite Shane Duff making 50.
Now Tiddington will be at home to Shrivenham, who recorded a two-wicket home win over Challow & Childrey with one ball to spare.
Ryan Gordon hit 104 of Challow’s 209-8 as Adam Tucker picked up 4-23 for the OCA Division 1 outfit.
Tucker then made 61 and with Conor Taylor hitting 48, Shrivenham got home at the death, despite Nigel Hill’s 4-43 for the Cherwell Division 2 side.
Captain John Williams hit 100 as Cumnor racked up a massive 354-5 to set up a 230-run victory over Sandford St Martin.
Matt Lake (66) and Jamie Douglas (54no) contributed half-centuries, before the visitors were shot out for 124.
Richard Cook was another century-maker with 112 in Aston Rowant’s 92-run victory over Kingston Bagpuize at Butts Way.
Daniel Matthews struck 74 in Rowant’s 289-5, before Bagpuize were held to 197-3, with Marco Cecchini making 83.
Horspath cruised to a nine-wicket win at Oxford Downs, who were bowled out for 142.
Robbie Eason led Horspath home with an undefeated 71.
