Henry Purdy
OXFORDSHIRE’S Henry Purdy has been called into the England Under 20 squad for the IRB Junior World Championship.
The 18-year-old Leicester wing, from Milton-under-Wychwood, did not make the original selection for June’s tournament in France.
But Purdy gets his chance after Sale Sharks centre Mark Jennings was ruled out with an arm injury.
The former Cokethorpe School pupil played for England three times during the successful Under 20 Six Nations campaign, scoring one try against France in Worcester.
