Long Wittenham Athletic, winners of the first North Berks Cup back in 1908, saw their name etched on to the trophy for a record 15th time, after a 3-2 comeback win over Didcot Casuals, writes PHIL ANNETS.

A first-half Fletcher Hoey goal and Lawrence Hoey’s strike soon after the break gave Casuals a 2-0 lead in the final at Abingdon Town.

But fellow Division 1 side Wittenham hit back through Callum Bowler, Andy Cooper and Andy Sutherland’s looping back-header to end a 36-year wait to lift the cup again.

Division 4 side Coleshill United Res enjoyed an emphatic 5-0 triumph against holders Wantage Town A in the AG Kingham Cup final.

Dave Coleman and Mark Loveridge bagged a brace apiece alongside a James Tranter strike to sink their Division 2 opponents.

Coleshill keeper Sean Coxhead also saved a second-half penalty.

Berinsfield kept alive their faint hopes of claiming the Division 1 title with a 5-0 win over Faringdon Town.

David Murphy and Mike Hinkin scored twice, with Mark Ingram also netting.

Saxton Rovers Res seem doomed to relegation from Division 2 after a 4-0 defeat at home to Lambourn Sports Res. Kane Lackenby (2), Damian Harris and Matt Howe were on target.

Fellow strugglers Steven-ton secured a 2-2 draw at Drayton to move level on points with Saxton, but with a much better goal difference than their rivals who have completed their programme.

Stuart Coppock’s brace for Steventon was matched Ryan Seamark for Drayton.

Faringdon Town Res ended their season with a 2-2 draw at Radley that leaves them two points clear at the top of Division 3. Jason Evans and Jake Vanags scored their goals with Nino Merola and Rich Hathaway replying.

Childrey United Res, who can still overtake Faringdon for the title, secured promotion with a 16-0 mauling of ten-man Didcot Casuals Res.

Tom Weeks hit a double hat-trick, while there were also goals from John Wick (2), Vaughan Just (2), Wayne Gregory (2), Barnabas Kalina (2), Dan Crawford and Dan Garlick.
