Stonesfield stayed top of the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division with a thumping 7-1 win at Garsington.

Nick Higgs and Tom Green bagged braces, with Dan Sherbourne, Ben Lucas and Pete Sloane making up their magnificent seven.

Steve Skrimes provided Garsington’s lone reply.

Oxford University Press kept up the pressure on the leaders with a 2-0 home win over Charlton United.

Marlon James headed home a great cross from Jimmy Gray in the first half to give Press the lead.

And Rui De Garces netted from the penalty spot to seal victory.

Lewis Morrison bagged a brace in Bletchingdon’s 6-2 win at Mansfield Road.

Mark Gaul, Todd Parker Hunt, Ben Foster and Adam Wells also netted for Bletchingdon, with Soufian Kessabi and an own goal making up Mansfield’s reply.

Marston Saints Res looked as if they may pick up their first point of the season in Division 2, only to fall to a tenth straight defeat with a 3-1 home loss against Oxford University Press Res.

Alex Hogg gave Marston a first-half lead, and they held out until the last 20 minutes, when Sean Berry, Nolan Aselford and Jamie Van Santen scored for Press.

Eynsham Res went second in Division 2 after coming from behind to win 3-1 at Yarnton Res.

Dean Isernia opened the scoring for Yarnton in the first half, but Tom Pickett levelled, before Ian Law and George Greening struck after the break to give Eynsham victory.
