North Leigh threw away a 3-1 half-time lead to go down 4-3 at Swindon Supermarine in a thrilling Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West fixture last night.
John Parsons gave the home side the early advantage, but John Mills soon equalised and Stuart Hole made it 2-1 from the penalty spot after Tom Franklin was brought down.
When Jon Else headed in a free-kick to make it 3-1 before the break, North Leigh looked all set for a three points.
But after Danny Allen was sent off for two yellow cards, Supermarine’s ten men upped a gear and won it with goals from Craig Curits (69 minutes), substitute Ben Whitehead (77) and Harry Etheridge three minutes from time.
