Goal chances were at a premium as improving Banbury United earned a deserved point from their goalless draw away to Frome Town in the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division on Saturday.
Banbury dominated the early stages without being able to create clear openings.
As the half developed Frome began to work their way into the game. The second half followed a similar pattern. Banbury's best effort came in the 70th minute when Adeyinka Talabi did well to turn and make room for a shot just outside the penalty area. But his curling effort went just the wrong side of the far post.
The visitors finished strongly winner, but were still unable to find a way through a solid Frome defence.
Banbury Utd: Carter, Cray, Martin, Ashton, Blossom, Scott Bridges, Talabi, Skendi, Yusuff (Sharif 61), Isaac, Hopkins. Subs not used: Agyeman-Prempeh, R Plowright, W Plowright, Lait.
Attendance: 205.
