Dan Still has targeted a top-five finish after taking over as manager at Sport Italia Hellenic League Premier Division high-fliers Ardley United.

Still, 33, promoted from assistant manager after Pete Foley quit, was delighted when chairman Norman Stacey asked him to take over the helm. He is not planning any widespread changes.

"I think it's case of continuing the work myself and Pete have done here in the past 18 months," said Still, who was coach at Brackley Town before Foley brought him to Oxford Road.

"The only real change is that Tom Foley has gone to Banbury, while I have brought in Steve Edwards as keeper. I would also like to bring in another striker."

Still, whose second-placed side travel to leaders Almondsbury tomorrow, will be without Luke Brandon (ankle ligaments), and Steve Garbutt (unavailable).

He added: "My aim is to stay among the clubs at the top.

"I think as a small club with a small budget, winning the league maybe slightly out of our reach, but if we can stay in the top five by the end of the season, I would be very happy."
