Boss Gary Elkins is set to stick with keeper Mauro Belloli-Pereira when Didcot Town host Poole Town in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West tonight.

That is despite a horror show from the Brazilian-born stopper in Didcot’s 4-3 defeat at home to Paulton Rovers on Saturday.

“Marcos made three horrendous mistakes, starting in the first minute,” said Elkins. “I’m going to have a chat with him before the game, but I think I will stick with Marcos.”

Meanwhile, Elkins was last night in talks with former Railwaymen and now Hungerford Town midfielder Matty Jack about a return to Didcot.
