OXFORD Harlequins' Rhodri Edwards has joined London Wasps' junior ranks after impressing in trials.

Edwards, a centre or full back for Quins' under 15s, was the only Oxfordshire player called up from the 15 and 16-year-olds' selection.

*GOSFORD All Blacks' Under 9s remain unbeaten after two wins at Wheatley.

The first game saw Gosford run in 11 tries in a 22-0 victory as captain Alfie Tolly bagged a hat-trick.

Tom Downes (3) and Sebastian Bearn (2) also crossed.

Wheatley bagged two quick tries in match two, but Gosford replied through Nathan Moss and Fernando Bajo en route to an 8-4 win.

Ieuan Llewellyn scored another try and George Gardener set up one for Tolly.

*CHINNOR Under 12s deserved more than one try for their effort over two matches at Old Albanians.

Having lost the first game 21-0, they were trailing by the same scoreline in match two.

But Tom Lidington, Cameron Leff, Sean Hinton and Ollie Wingfield combined to set up Alex Wheeldon, who scored and converted.

Another home try saw the match end 28-7, but Connor Green was very unlucky not to cross over just before the final whistle.
