OXFORD: Walking tours of the city have won a prize for providing excellent visitor experiences.
Oxford Official Guided Walking Tours were given the Silver award for the Tourism Experience of the Year category at the Beautiful South Awards 2014.
It will now represent the South East at the national Visit England awards next year.
Digna Martinez, of Oxford Official Guided Walking Tours, said: “We are delighted to have received this award. It is a great reward for all our staff and guides.”
The ceremony at the Grand Brighton Hotel celebrated outstanding contributions to the tourism industry on Thursday evening.
