Ian Mead’s maximum set the new leaders on their way, with only goal difference separating them and Rutherford.
Forum A are just two points behind after a 7-3 triumph over Bicester A, despite a full house from Dave Ralls.
Vikings A secured the Division 2 title with a 10-0 triumph over Holton A.
In Division 3, pace-setters Forum I lost 7-3 at Community A, Terry Ruane and Huw du Boulay with maximums.
Forum H beat Bicester C 6-4 to cut the gap to four points, John Duncalfe’s treble seeing them home.

Meanwhile, Kiarash Shaddel was the Under 19 winner at the Oxfordshire Schools Championships.
The Magdalen College School pupil beat Ethan Morgan in the final.
Abingdon School’s Tom Stanmore and Ethan Zhang claimed the Under 16 and Under 11 titles respectively.
The Warriner School's Joe Fisher was the Under 13 winner.
