A VILLAGE school has been given the top stamp of approval for its sports provision.
Kirtlington CE Primary School has been awarded the gold School Games Mark, for its commitment, engagement and delivery of competitive sport in school.
The government-led scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community.
Schools apply to be assessed and are graded at bronze, silver, or gold level.
In a newsletter to parents, staff at Kirtlington said they were 'delighted' with the result and will be displaying the certificate in school.
