A PRIMARY school near Chipping Norton is being led with 'calm purpose' to engage children in learning, Ofsted has said.
Wychwood CE Primary School in Shipton-under-Wychwood, which teaches 287 pupils, has been rated 'good' by the regulator.
A letter to headteacher Joseph Rubba said: "Parents are rightly confident in your calm and purposeful leadership and the dedication and skill of the staff.
"Teachers' expectations are high, and pupils respond with enthusiasm."

The inspector added: "It engages pupils well and provides them with plenty of opportunity for exciting experiences and memorable learning such as those provided by the outdoor-learning focus during the inspection."
Ofsted carried out the short inspection in May and published their feedback last week.
The school had previously been rated 'good' in 2015.
