VOLUNTEERS are wanted to help create new ‘mini meadows’ at an Oxford nature reserve today.
The Wild Oxford team will be cutting back brash with scythes and creating areas of bare earth at Raleigh Park in Botley from about 10am onwards.
Project co-ordinator Andy Gunn will being all tools and equipment, hot drinks and cakes or biscuits.
Volunteers are advised to bring sturdy waterproof boots, gloves, waterproof clothes and their own lunch. Anyone who owns a scythe is welcome to bring it.
