A PRIVATE school has won approval to create a new lacrosse playing field at a nearby farm.
St Helen & St Katharine School, Abingdon, has been given planning permission to turn a former agricultural building at Church Farm in Shippon into a pavilion housing changing rooms, shower facilities and storage for sports equipment.
The building will also have toilets, a kitchenette, and a club room where family members and spectators can gather.
