A GAS and electric energy firm which serves Oxfordshire has signed a new deal with a home assistance company to offer insurance policies for a range of services to its 370,000 UK customers.
Co-op Energy has agreed the five-year partnership with HomeServe.
A range of home assistance products – covering electrical emergencies, plumbing protection and central heating and boiler breakdown cover – will be available from £3 per month for Co-op Energy customers.
The firms said their agreement supported their shared ambition ‘to continue to diversify, to grow and to compete in the UK home emergency insurance market’.
