MUSIC-lovers are being invited to 'rock for heroes' as a charity show featuring several familiar names rolls into town.
The gig, in aid of the Help for Heroes charity, will take place at the Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot, on February 15.
It will feature a full live rock band and guest singers playing the likes of Dire Straits, Status Quo, Queen, David Bowie, Madonna, Spandau Ballet, Bryan Adams, Elton John and Simple Minds.
It's being billed as a 'perfect combination' of some of the biggest rock and pop acts of the last few decades and a celebration of an 'incredible cause.'
Buckets will be passed around after the show to collect much-needed funds for the charity who support veterans and those serving the armed forces and their families.
The Oxfordshire network provides direct and practical help for those who have been wounded or are sick or injured as a result of their service.
Tickets for the one-off show have now gone on sale from the Cornerstone's website, cornerstone-arts.org, priced at £20.
