APPLE growers can turn this year’s bumper harvest into fresh juice as Didcot Railway Centre holds an apple day tomorrow.
An apple press has been provided by the Sustainable Didcot group for the event which runs from 11am until 3pm.
There will also be fun activities for children, either in the picnic area, or in the Railways, Science and Learning carriages - depending on the weather.
Trains will not be running but visitors can wander around the site, enjoying the many aspects of the original Great Western Railway.
Ann Middleton, commercial manager, said: “This is something a little different and we hope that visitors will use the opportunity to convert their bumper apple crops into juice.”
